ABOUT ME

I’m a fiend for candles, flaming hot cheetos, and all things cozy. I’m an engineer turned project manager living my dream of launching new makeup products on my 9 to 5 and writing on my 5 to 9. Few things make me happier than good food, thunderstorms, and an excuse to jump on a plane.

I was born in India, started school in Singapore, then moved to the United States when I was five. I spent most of my childhood and early 20s in New Jersey before eventually moving to New York, Florida, and now California, but my heart is usually in Paris.

Too many people, especially immigrants, follow the saying “keep your head down and your chin up”. While this motto might be a safe way to stay out of trouble, it also results in missed opportunities for people to share experiences that might resonate with others. I write because being open and raw about our personal journeys can be a simple yet powerful way to make others feel seen. Follow along as I reflect on my highs and lows. 🥂
